About: Art/Life/Contact
My name is Red. I’m glad you’ve stopped by.
The Art:
I am a freelance artist. This includes but is not limited to digital and fine art photography, painting and mixed media, murals, design, book alteration and bookbinding, collaboration, and jewelry making.
An attempt at my style…
My style is interactive and messy. Interaction is what drives me. I am constantly craving interaction with my creator, his creation, and any amount of fresh perspective I can get my thoughts on. This aspect of how I’ve been made is vital in my art. I have found that I like negative space and pushing things to the edge. I thrive on texture and getting my hands dirty. I enjoy turning one man’s trash into treasures for another. I am drawn to drastic contrast, muted colors, and circles. Human anatomy never ceases to fascinate and challenge me. I want to hear your story, and I want to document it in any medium.
There is a lot more to say and a lot more to know that most may or may not be interested in.
I am always open for conversation.
Life:
I am first and foremost saved by grace (send me an email, ask me, I’ll explain).
Second, I am 24 years old, graduated 2 years ago with a BFA in Painting and Photography, am currently working at a bagel shop in Columbia, South Carolina, and of course doing freelance work.

Hi, I stumbled across your website while searching images from Dan Eldon for a presentation I’m doing about him. I just read the first entry I saw and I happen to be in the exact same boat! I’m also finishing up my BFA with a degree in film photography that will no doubt give me trouble in the real world making money. I think your words are inspiring though and I wish you the best of luck! I poked around a little at your work and I think you definitely have something great evolving. If you ever happen to be in Las Vegas and would like to go to some art shows, let me know! I love meeting other artists, especially those who have an appreciation for darkroom printing and retired processes!
