Books

An altered book is an old book that is converted into a journal or sketch book. The pages are glued for durability and then the creative process is unleashed to produce messy, textured, and interactive journals. Here is an example of an altered book in process. This book was primarily cyanotype (a blue photographic process) pages, and then I glued blank white pages over the words to give the owner of this book a good place to write or draw. Altered books may be blind ordered (I make one, you buy it). Or they can be special ordered (you email me ideas, color palette, and suggestions, you send me items and/or photos to add, then I make it for you).
