The Good News:

People are what inspire and intrigue me. The simple, subtle, creative portrait is my absolute favorite thing to photograph. I like to capture the beautiful simplicity and obscure complexity of a person all at the same time. I enjoy photographing people in large empty space and in their space. I want to capture the interaction with who you are and what you do. For couples and groups, I want to capture who you are individually and how you interact together.

The Mediums:
I use digital and film equally but differently.

Digital:

I mention digital first only because it is what most of my clients request, and understandably so.  However, I cannot talk about my digital work without expressing that I am a film artist at heart.  My digital work is straight forward, colorful, and complex.  Pricing depends on the number of shots processed, prints, and cd options.
Here are some recent examples.

Film:
I use both 35mm and medium format film.

-Most of my 35mm is c-41 process and can be either color or b&w. This means that I will take a role of your choice, get it developed, and you will then have prints, a cd, and negatives that can be reprinted just about anywhere (walgreen’s, walmart, etc.).
Old 35mm examples.

-Medium format primarily comes in b&w and has about 8-12 shots per roll. It is more expensive than 35mm c-41, but much higher quality. I will take any number of rolls, develop them myself, make proofs, and we will then discuss how you would like me to custom print them.

Digital-
Session: $50/hour
cd with 50 pictures: $100  (additional pictures- $2 each)
prints: vary

Film-
Session: $50/hour
35mm: $100 per 24 exposure roll (includes 4×6 prints, cd, and negatives)
Medium Format processing: $1000 per roll
Medium Format printing: $20 per contact; $50 per enlargement

Packages: start at $2,000 and go up depending on custom options
